The wiki for the class is up at http://uwiclass.wikispaces.com/.
A Wiki is a website or similar online resource which allows users to add and edit content collectively. Excellent for working on a group FAQ. The Wikipedia is a hugeonline encyclopaedia, that's edited collectively.
A wiki is a great tool for class use, as group projects are made very easy using it.

I'ved saved the file Quick Start 4.5.2.doc and yet I still am unaware how to get a webpage done. There is not even one example of a finished webpage. Still confused, because I'm seeing a great deal of separate tasks that can be done, but no systhesis of these tasks into a whole webpage.
Sorry, still confused, because all I need is a website with a database linked to it allowing certain types of access to the site, for example, for teachers, students, parents and the public.
I really do not need news flashes, newsfeeds, but a site where I can set up lessons, homework, tutorials, feedback. Stuff teachers do.
A website is a collection of pages and items. As you create the items, you create the site. That is all you need to do.
The last document that I put up on the screen on Thursday detailed the steps necessary to create a Mambo site.
